Gran Canaria

Gran Canaria is one of the most popular gay holiday destinations in Europe. Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles in the south on the island is very popular. There are lots of gay nightlife, gay events, beaches and gay cruising. Playa del Ingles has many large hotel complexes, and there are many hotels and resorts focusing on gay guests. Some hotels are "men only".

Gay Pride in May is one of the main events of the year. It is one of the best in Europe.

Many gay guests come to Gran Canaria for the nightlife. In Playa del Ingles most of the gay bars and clubs are in and around the Yumbo Center. This is a shopping center with shops and restaurants during the day. When the evening comes, the bars and clubs open. There are many cruising bars and lots of darkrooms. Men only, fetish focused clubs, with darkrooms and play areas are popular with many of the guys visiting Gran Canaria. 

Gay cruising goes on day and night. In hotels, by the pool, in the hallways, toilets, in the dunes, the beaches...everywhere!
