Guide to Gay Pride in Germany

Gay Pride in Berlin, or Christopher Street Day, or CSD Berlin is what the pride parade in Berlin i called. It is held in the second half of July.

 

In 2025 Pride Month is from June 28 to July 27 with the parade held on July 26. It is the largest Gay Pride in Germany, and one of the largest in Europe with visiters from all over the world.

Gay Pride in Cologne will in 2025 be celebrated from June 21 to July 6. 

 

This Gay Pride Festival with the CSD Parade in the end, is one of the lagest events in the city of Cologne during the summer. Being the 4th largest city in Germany, many visiters from the nearby cities and tourists wants to be part of many of the cultural events, concerts and parties.

 

Many says Cologne is one of the most gay-friendly destinations in Europe.

Gay Pride in Hamburg in 2025 is celebrated from July 26 to August 3. The dates for many of the events are not here yet, but the Parade has been confirmed to be August 2rd 2025. The reason for the late announcements on the pride for summer in Hamburg, is because they also celebrate Winter Pride in November 2024.

 

Hamburg Pride has several cultural events, parties and concerts. The last part of the Pride week has a street festival on the streets around the Alster and Jungfernstieg. 

 

The Gay Pride Parade on August 2rd, starts in St. Georg in the street called Lange Reihe, the gay street in St.Georg. This is also the best area to stay in hotels, since many of the gay cruising bars are in this area.

The Winter Pride Hamburg 2024 is celebrated from November 17 to December 22.

 

This is a gay and lesbian Christmas Market in St. Georg in Lange Reihe street. A perfect place to enjoy Christmas music with your queer friends and family, or just enjoy a beer, a cup of warm Glühwein and some snacks.

Munich Pride, or CSD München, in 2025 will be celebrated from June 14 to June 29.

 

Several cultural events, concerts and parties takes place these weeks. The street festival and Parade takes place towards the end of the second week.
